However, can you make a version for the Netgear WNR2000 v4???

It also has the small space to save the config in regular OpenWRT 18.06, so I'm stuck on LeDE 17.

Again, thanks in advance!

Cheers!

I replied on the other forum already, I watch them both.

Thank you again.

As stated on the other forum. The build for the WNR2000v4 works but can't save the configuration and it's lost after a reboot.

Is it possible to remove WatchCat or something to reduce the size?

The sad thing is that relayd is appreciated by me, also wpad-basic for fast roaming. I guess this router would remain in LeDE 17.

Or if you have an Openwrt 18 tiny build, would also be great

Thanks in advance.

If LEDE 17 works fine, you can stay there. I wasn't able to make a configuration keeping all those - luci, wpad-basic, relayd, watchcat and ipv6 on newer builds. If it finally builds, I expect there is little, but enough space for configuration overlay. Maybe don't import old configuration, but create a new one. Watch free space via SSH using df -h.

No, I didn't keep the settings.

Just setting the new password and rebooting will ask to set the password again.

I guess I'll stay on LeDE ?

It appears to be the best solution, if there is no incompatibility with other, newer OpenWRT devices.

I don't need IPv6 or even WatchCat. Maybe stripping those would give the necessary space needed to save the configuration.

I would make the build myself but I don't know how. I'm experienced in Terminal in macOS and Linux but I don't have an installation set up. Maybe I can try WSL but don't know how to start.

But I can't thank you enough for all your work to the community. I'll still try the build for the WR841Nv8 when I visit my mom. That's her only router and I'd like it to be updated. My WNR2000v4 is only a repeater, so not that important.

Cheers!
