This is a package of OpenWRT 19.07.10 stable builds for targets ar71xx.

Modifications against default tiny packages:

• removed PPP support
  
• removed OPKG
  
• added LuCI
  
• added relayd
  
• added WatchCat
  
• replaced wpad-mini by wpad-basic
  

This way the builds could fit into squashfs (factory/sysupgrade) compatible builds. Relayd is there for cases where you use the device as LAN extender over WLAN without additional NAT. Wpad-basic enables the use of 802.11r.

I have selected to build only those targets, that have not been ported to ath79.

Builds have not been tested for all devices, but compiling resulted in no errors.

Thanks for update brother, currently running 19.07.7 from your previous build on my wa901ndv3 since my last comment in this forum and i got no issue at all, and i think i’m going to upgrade to this version tonight.
Anyway brother, if you don’t mind could you please create this version build with removed ipv6 support as well for wa901nd v3?

Hi. There is no need for you to use IPv6 if you don't want it. Just remove checkbox ticks in specific interfaces and empty IPv6 local range in interfaces configuration.

Yeah man, of course that what did, but i dont know if it’s really disable ipv6 function completely, i mean is there any background process or start up service that i need to disable as well?

Anyway, i just tried to upgrade my device to this version, but i got warning “image metadata not present” so i cancel the upgrade. I’m currently running 19.07.7 ath79 which is from your previous build, i think because this version for ar71xx. Meanwhile, i can’t find version 19.07.10 ath79 for wa901nd v3 on your repo. Or did i miss something?

Earlier I compiled it for your device by modifying the device support files. I wasn't sure if it would even boot, it was too risky. Still it hasn't officially been ported from ar71xx to ath79 target.

Now I decided to build latest 19.07 stable build for ar71xx, because I tried to port TP-Link WA7510N from ar71xx to ath79 and although it booted fine, wi-fi never worked. I spent many nights trying to get it to work and even needed to solder pins of UART cable to restore after failed flash. At the end I found out it was caused by empty memory space supplied by device manufacturer in place dedicated for wi-fi eeprom. As newer wifi driver requires that regulatory data, it would always fail.
I also tried to build 4MB images of new 22.03 branch with LuCI and all the needed packages exceeded the storage space by 330kB (compressed). Some people report the 21.02 branch is not as fast or stable as 19.07, so the new versions are no-go for these devices.

Even these ar71xx were not easy to build. I had to remove ath10k driver and leave only ath9k. Other modifications were similar to those in ath79 config. I selected only the targets, that failed to build or were missing (not ported) in ath79.

If you want to upgrade, you'll have to switch back to ar71xx (network device names might change back to what they were before). You might want to combine your original ar71xx backup with current backup.

Finally i have this version installed on my device today, bro. Actually i 'm not sure what you meant about "switch back to ar71xx ", kinda blind about tech stuff lol. But here's what did
from 19.07.7 ath79 -> force downgrade (ignore warning) to official openwrt 18.06 ar71xx -> upgrade (no warning) to 19.07.10 ar71x (this verison).

Hi. Would it be possible to add a build for TL-WA854RE V2? It should be almost identical to the WA850RE V2 image, except that it has no Ethernet.

I found changes necessary for V1 hardware here, if this helps.

Hi. Unfortunately WA854RE is poorly documented and lacks technical data page. Although it appears that the changes in the link could be used to build v1, I can't recommend it as you might brick your v2 device.

However, can you make a version for the Netgear WNR2000 v4???

It also has the small space to save the config in regular OpenWRT 18.06, so I'm stuck on LeDE 17.
